Three persons believed to be Fulanis died on the spot when a Progressive People’s Party (PPP) campaign vehicle ran into them near Salaga in the Northern Region.
Two men and a female died on the spot when a PPP-branded Pick-up truck with registration number, GT 2926 – 12, crashed into their motorbike Thursday morning at about 10:40 a.m, a reporter Christopher Amoako said.

The reporter said a baby believed to be about seven-months-old was badly wounded and is on admission at the Salaga Government Hospital.
He explained that the driver of the vehicle, was touring the township after he had delivered chairs at Bundai where the party is holding a mini-rally as part of Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom’s tour to the Northern Region.
The nomadic herders were moving in the opposite direction from Bundai to Salaga when they met their untimely death.
The driver and other occupants have absconded, the reporter told myjoyonline.com.
