Men and women of God leading MultiTV’s special prayer marathon dubbed Prayerthon 2011 are promising the session will bring Ghana to a turning point
The 24hour prayer, praise and worship festival seeks to bring the entire Christian community in Ghana together to pray for the nation and its neighbors at Pavilion ‘A’, trade fair Center La Accra.
According to the Chief Operating Officer of the station, Ken Ashigbey, Prayerthon is MultiTV’s dream of gathering the nation unto God in a uniting force to patch the gaps in the nation’s body politic and reinforce a national focus on the higher calling of God for humanity.
Seasoned men and women of God in the country, including Action Chapel’s Archbishop Duncan Williams, Bishop Agyin Asare of the Word Miracle International, Rev Fitz Odonkor of Harvest Chapel International, Rev. Dr. Ampiah Kwofie of Global Revival Ministries, Rev. Ama Afo Blay, Rev. Sam Korankyi Ankrah, Prohet Yaw Annor, Rev Ransford Obeng and Rev. Sunshine Anaba will be leading congregants through various prayer points such us leadership, spiritual warfare, family among others.
The clergy is fired up to stir a revival in the nation and receive a down pour of God’s annointing on Ghana.
The prayer programme will be interspersed with soulful worship ministrations from some of Ghana’s finest gospel musicians including No tribe, Danny Nettey, Nii Okai, Ohenmaa Mercy, Soul Winners, Josh Laryea and Pastor Joe Beechem.
Prayerthon which starts from 6:00pm Friday, 28th January 2011 till 6:00pm Saturday 29th is expected to draw the nation’s leaders from politics, corporate and civil society as well as the general citizenry closer to the throne of the Most High.
