The Office of the President has announced Dr. Albert Brown Gaisie as the new Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service.
He takes over from Brigadier-General John Bosco Guyiri who has been the Acting Chief Fire Officer.
Brigadier-General Guyiri proceeds on his compulsory retirement.
The new Chief Fire Officer, Dr. Gaisie served as a Regional Commander of Greater Accra, Ashanti and Eastern Regions.
He has also served in various capacities in the Ghana National Fire Service as the Director of Rural Fires, the Director of Research, Development and Monitoring and until recently, the Director in charge of Operations.
