President John Mahama has nominated 12 persons for the position of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the Brong Ahafo and Upper East Regions.
The nominations have been made by President John Dramani Mahama in accordance with Section 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
The list of nominees were contained in a statement signed Mr. Akwasi Opong-Fosu, the Minister for Local Government & Rural Development.
The following are the nominees:
1. Alhaji Mohammed Kwaku Doku: Asunafo North Municipal
2. I. K. Kyeremeh: Dormaa East
3. Datiakwa Kojo Nyame: Kintampo South
4. Bukari Anaba Zakaria: Tano South
5. Jones Samuel Tawiah: Tain
6. Paul Donkor: Dormaa West
7. Anthony Kwaku Marnuh: Techiman North
8. Nobert Awulley: Builsa South
9. Adangabey Bonaventure: Builsa North
10. Thomas Dalu: Kassena- Nankana West
11. Vivian Anafo: Nabdam
12. Akologo Daniel Adoliba: Bunduri
