President John Evans Atta Mills has said that government has used the resources at its disposal for the intended purposes.
According to him using the resources of the nation judiciously is the only way his administration can justify the confidence the people have reposed in him.
Interacting with the presidential press corps on the eve of his 68th birthday, at the Castle in Osu Friday, President Mills stated that, government will continue working hard to improve the living conditions of the people and also give the country the needed facelift.
Meanwhile President Mills has sworn in the Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Joseph Akanjolenur Whittal.
President Mills assured Mr. Whittal of government support while emphasizing on the need for Mr. Wittal to partner his Boss and work as a team, towards achieving the better Ghana agenda.
In her remark, the Commissioner of CHRAJ Lauretta Lamptey indicated that the experience and capabilities of her deputy will be brought to bear in the execution of the Commission’s responsibilities.
