President John Dramani Mahama has released the first list of nominees for Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive (MMDCE) positions in the Volta Region.
The nominations, according to the Minister for Local Government & Rural Development Hon. Akwasi Opong-Fosu, are in accordance with Section 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
They are:
1. Michael K. Adzaho: Agotime Ziope
2. Sylvester Tonyeava: Keta Municipal
3. Moses K. Ponye: Krachi West
4. Daniel Dagba: Akatsi South
5. Delphia Fafa Agbai: North Tongu
6. Emmanuel Sky Ganaku: Adaklu
7. Stephen Komla Timinka: North Dayi
