Renowned producer Brenda Antwi-Donkor has disassociated herself from the Ghana Philanthropy Awards 2025, which seeks to honour individuals and organisations embarking on charity projects.
Recently, she has been contacted by several individuals who have been nominated for the awards, enquiring whether she is the event executive due to the similarity between her name and that of the signee on the official letters.
The letters are signed by Brenda Donkor, a name closely resembling Brenda Antwi-Donkor, leading many to mistakenly believe it is the same person.

As a result, Mrs. Antwi-Donkor has issued a formal disclaimer, clearly stating that she is not affiliated with the event in any way.
She states, “Any use of my name in communications, invitations, or event materials related to this awards program is unauthorized and misleading. Mrs. Antwi-Donkor disclaims any involvement in the planning, endorsement, execution, or promotion of this event.”
