Former Deputy Speaker of Parliament Prof. Mike Ocquaye wants the world’s largest international police organization, INTERPOL, to investigate Ghana voters’ register which the NPP strongly believes is bloated with foreigners.
He believes evidence presented by the party showing that more than 76,000 foreigners from Togo are on Ghana’s electoral roll raises issues bordering on criminality.
He reiterated the party’s claim that pictures of these foreigners were scanned and later placed in Ghana’s voters’ register.
These two claims and others should therefore attract the attention of the International Criminal Police Organisation. INTERPOL has 190 member countries working to facilitate international police co-operation even where diplomatic relations do not exist between particular countries.

Action is taken within the limits of existing laws in different countries and in the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
But the constitution of INTERPOL prohibits ‘any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious or racial character'.
