Prof John Atta Mills, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Wednesday congratulated Ghanaians on the country's 51st anniversary.
Prof Mills said in a message, "it must be the pledge of those of us who now have the mantle to lead to also pledge to push forward the frontiers of what the Founding Fathers started."
The message expressed the hope that this year would bode well for the nation so that "we will go through a peaceful, free and fair election, come out of it peacefully and more united, solidly support whoever is given the mandate to govern after President John Agyekum Kufuor."Source: GNA/Ike
