The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, powered by Smirnoff, has announced the opening of public nominations for its 13th edition, inviting DJs and fans across the globe to participate in Africa’s biggest celebration of DJ talent.
From September 8 to September 22, all DJs across Ghana and beyond are officially invited to submit their entries for consideration in the 2025 Ghana DJ Awards.
Submissions can be made exclusively through the dedicated nomination portal at https://entry.ghanadjawards.org, where DJs are required to complete a simple form and provide the necessary details to be considered in their chosen categories.
This open call provides a fair and transparent platform for DJs of every genre and background to showcase their work and stand a chance of being recognized on the nation’s biggest stage for DJ talent.

As part of the process, DJs can submit their official entries, including professional photos, mixtapes, and videos showcasing their craft and unique style.
At the same time, music lovers across the globe have a unique opportunity to be part of the Ghana DJ Awards process, no matter their location. Fans can contribute by visiting the dedicated nominations portal at entry.ghanadjawards.org and submitting a simple form to put forward their favorite DJs in various categories.
This inclusive approach ensures that every fan’s voice is heard and valued in celebrating the DJs who influence culture and uplift communities through music.
Designed to recognise the outstanding talent and impact of disc jockeys across Ghana and beyond, the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards is Africa’s Biggest DJ platform, celebrating excellence in DJing. True to it’s 2025 theme, Shake the Floor, this edition underscores the cultural influence and the role DJs play in uplifting communities through music and energy.
Once the submission period closes, a respected jury of industry experts will thoroughly review all entries and nominations to determine eligibility and category placement. After this rigorous vetting, a shortlist of official nominees will be released.

At that stage, the general public will be invited to participate in the process through an open voting system, giving fans the power to support their favorite DJs and influence who takes home the coveted awards.
The journey will culminate with the unveiling of the winners at the grand awards ceremony on November 29 at the Palms Convention Centre, Accra.
