Ex-president John Rawlings is one of many dignitaries to attend the much touted, heavily controversial judgement day bout between Braimah Kamoko alias Bukom Banku and Michael Okine, popularly called Ayitey Powers.
The bout which has been hyped by the tough talking braggarts was postponed on two separate occasions at the behest of Powers on the advice of his spiritual leader, TB Joshua.
After a last hurdle- the threat by the Ga Traditional Council to scuttle the bout was crossed- the boxers were finally ready to match their words with blows.
Mr Rawlings, a boxing fanatic, says he will be at the ring side to watch the bout that has gained national attention.
He says the best man should win but will not be surprised if it ends in a draw if the boxers approach the bout with the same passion.
