Albert Kobina Mensah, Ph.D. CSIR-soil research institute insists restoring Ghana’s galamsey-damaged soils may take more than 300 years.
In this rejoinder to his earlier position and the rebuttal of the Environmental Protection Agency, Dr. Kobinah Mensah maintains that even the 300 years he referenced pertains to toxic elements, specifically zinc, and the calculation indicates a duration exceeding 300 years.
