Austrian side, Red Bull Salzburg look set to price away Ghanaian midfielder, Aziz Tetteh from Greek side, Platanias.
The seven-time Austrian Bundesliga champions, are reported to have offered half-a- million Euros (500,000 Euros) for the signature of the midfielder who has had his best form yet since joining Platanias just before the start of the second round of the just ended season.
Aziz who has three years left on his contract with Platanias could join the Austrian side in summer if the two clubs are able to reach an agreement.
Salzburg has qualified for next season’s UEFA Champions League and are keen on augmenting the squad ahead of the campaign.
Tetteh has set his sight on playing more games in his quest to keep improving and told GNA Sports he was preoccupied with “playing often that I do not want to bother much about my agent’s duties.
“I have also heard about the interest and my first reaction was that I simply want to keep playing. I love Platanias and the supporters. If the move happens, that will be great; if it does not, it will be equally wonderful.”
Salzburg has Black Stars central defender Isaac Vorsah on their roster, and Tetteh may become the second Ghanaian at the Red Bull Arena if the move goes through.
“Whatever happens, all I am focused on right now is to play more games and important once like I have done since I joined Platanias.”
The defensive midfielder has scored twice in 12 appearances since joining the Greek side before the second round.
