The marginal reduction in fuel prices announced by government should reflect at the pumps tomorrow, Saturday, 11, 2012.
The reduction announced last Sunday amounts to a 3 percent decrease in fuel prices so that a gallon of petrol for instance will sell at 20 pesewas less.
Joy Business has learnt the National Petroleum Authority has also reviewed the margins for the oil marketing companies.
The cost of the current reduction to government comes to about 7 million cedis for just the next two weeks.
The increase in the margins to the OMCs and the recent foreign exchange losses would however bring the total cost to government to between 15 and 20 million cedis.
