Reverend Father Matthew Takyi, Assistant Parish Priest of the Saint Martin De Pores Church at Nkoranza, has appealed to people in leadership positions to respect the views of their subordinates and establish cordial relationship with them.
He expressed concern in a sermon about how some leaders looked down on their subordinates and said people obtained wealth and leadership through the blessings of God.
"Persons in leadership positions must not forget that God has endowed them with blessings and they ought to serve Him to reciprocate the gesture", Rev Father Takyi said.
He advised leaders not to allow themselves to be enslaved by worldly pleasures.
Rev. Fr. Takyi said Ghanaians should not be divided by partisan politics, ethnic or religious sentiments but to regard themselves as one people for the growth of the country.
