The Communication Director of the Prof. Mills’ campaign, the NDC flag-bearer, Mr. Koku Anyidoho says retail campaigning has put the party miles ahead of the NPP.
He said rallies had not helped the party in the 2000 and 2004 elections.
That he said informed the party’s decision to change its campaign strategy.
Mr. Anyodoho told Citi FM that the retail campaign style enabled the NDC to reach out to smaller groups who became agents of the party and preached the word to others.
The Communication Director went biblical saying that although Jesus Christ had only 12 Disciples, they changed the world.
According to him, the “strategy is working magic for us (and) come voting day people will know what we have been doing.
The NDC flag-bearer is currently heading towards the Central Region as part of his campaign tour.
The tour comes a day after his main political rivals the NPP held a mammoth rally at Kasoa to outdoor the flag bearer and the party’s parliamentary candidates for the December elections.
On the rally Mr. Anyidoho admitted the crowd was huge.
He however believes it was a political gimmick.
