Joy FM Gospel presenter Rev. Mike Nii Abossey has presented five incubators bought through donations from listeners of the Super Station to the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital and two other hospitals.
To curtail the needless and preventable deaths of children due to the non availability of incubators at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, Rev. Abossey, together with Drive Time host Bola Ray launched an appeal for the purchase of one incubator.
Listeners bought into the noble idea and made donations to fund five incubators.
On Thursday, Rev Abossey donated the incubators to the Korlebu- Teaching Hospital. Three will remain with Korle-bu and the other two distributed to Wa and Bolgatanga hospitals.
Rev. Abossey who is also the acting president of Ma Love Foundation expressed regrets over what he said were needless deaths of children.
He therefore advised health personnel and parents to give ultimate support to children by human contact and use of medical equipment to save their lives.
