This year, 2014, Ghana's Showbiz Industry has lost many of its personalities, and Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Barima Kusi Brimpong known in showbiz as Rev. Kusi Berko has been the next to join the death roll last Friday, August 1.
Reports stated that the 'Ofata' musician died in Pramso, near Kumasi.
According to the deceased's brother, Rev Fosu Kusi Berko, disclosed that his late brother suffered from Stroke, Pneumonia and died of diabetes.
Speaking to Abrantepa on Radio Univers, he said his late brother came to Ghana from Italy with Pneumonia that developed into Stroke.
He further revealed that the deceased was regained his health from the stroke but later suffered from diabetes that generated into other sicknesses resulting to his death last Friday at the Pramso Roman Catholic Hospital.
One-week celebration of the late Rev. Kusi Berko comes off on Friday, August 9th at Aseserewa near Lake Bosomtwe in the Ashanti Region.
Rev. Kusi Berko is known for songs like ‘Ofata', 'Eden Ben Ni', 'Mrane', etc.
