Three armed robbers have in a swift operation attacked the Accra Mall branch of Ecobank in Accra.
The robbers, masked and armed with guns made away with an undisclosed amount of money.
An eye witness told Joy News the robbers collected monies from tellers before zooming away on a motorbike.
Bank officials have confirmed the incident but have provided no further comment.
Joy News’ Paa Kwesi Asare who visited the burgled bank, reports of eyewitnesses still grappling to come to terms with the reality of the incident.
He said there was no security at post at the time of the robbery.
