While a lot of people are giving plaudits to Lekzy DeComic and other comedians for successfully staging ‘The New False’ comedy show, some have also applauded the people behind the production.
Roland Amartey, a seasoned event producer and stage manager, led the charge as co-producer and stage manager during the show held on September 28, 2024 at the UPSA Auditorium.
With his extensive experience in event production and stage management, Roland ensured the event ran flawlessly. His leadership of a top-tier crew made the night unforgettable, with an impressive lineup featuring OB Amponsah, Papa Yaw Ataamle, Jacinta, Foster Romanus, Jeneral Ntatia, and Kojo PJay delivering non-stop laughter.

Having produced and stage-managed comedy shows like ‘CanPAIN Message’ and other notable events, Roland Amartey is no stranger to success. His dedication to excellence and innovative approach have solidified his growing influence in the African creative industry.
Beyond event management, Roland serves as the publicist and road manager for the iconic Shatta Wale, while contributing to key organizations like Africa Event Awards and Sammy Flex TV. He is also the Digital Communicator for Shaxi, Ghana’s fast-rising ride-hailing app, and manages his influential media platforms, Showbizchannelgh, a website and Roland Reports on YouTube.
Looking ahead, Roland will be producing his next major event, "Turn Up With Kidi," powered by US Entertainment, on November 30 in Berekum. His passion and expertise continue to drive Ghana’s entertainment industry forward.
