Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to Facebook to deny allegations that he made offensive comments about Leo Messi, from the privacy of the Real Madrid dressing room.
According to journalist, Guillem Balagué's book, titled 'Messi', the Portuguese referred to the Argentine as 'motherf***er' in front of his teammates, who joked with Cristiano about things like whether he carried his tiny dog, Messi, inside his bag.
The Real Madrid man has moved quickly to deny the allegations. "It's completely untrue that I made offensive comments about Lionel Messi. I've instructed my lawyers to take action and sue those responsible.
I have the utmost respect for all of my fellow footballers and Messi is obviously no exception", he said.
