The Shama Ahanta East Metropolitan Assembly (SAEMA) has set up a committee to investigate the cause of fire outbreak at the city’s biggest market.
The Metropolitan Chief Executive of the Assembly, Mr. Philip Nkrumah, disclosed to Joy News.
Traders whose wares were destroyed at the Takoradi Market Circle are counting their losses after fire gutted some of the shops.
The Market Circle is the city's biggest market, and the goods destroyed include cooking oil, rubber products, clothes and foodstuff.
