Actress cum entrepreneur Salma Mumin has apologised for a post in which she said that over ¢10,000 was “taken” from her MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) account without her knowledge.
She stated that she was "mistaken" as the company resolved the issues she was facing with her transaction.
Ms Mumin in an Instagram post responded to a rejoinder from the telecom company which threatened legal actions against her if she did not retract and apologise within 24 hours.
She said, “It was clearly mistaken. I hereby retract the said post and apologise unreservedly to MTN Ghana for any inconvenience caused it by my earlier post”.
The actress expressed appreciation to the company for swiftly and effectively solving the challenges she experienced with the transaction.

The telecommunications giant stated that her claims were false in a Twitter post on Friday hours after her first post about its Mobile Money services.
“As @Salmamumin is very much aware, the said amount was not in her MoMo Merchant Wallet and no money had been taken from her MoMo Merchant Wallet as claimed,” the MTN Ghana said in their response.
