Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah on May 26, paid a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong.
The visit formed part of the Apostle General's annual campus crusade, in which the 2023 edition took place at the University of Cape Coast.
The event which began on Thursday, May 25, and ended on Sunday, May 28, had over 5,000 University students and some senior members in attendance.

In his opening remarks to the VC, the Apostle General indicated that the crusade, dubbed, Encounter with the Oil, aimed to inculcate the fear of God and the discipline of strong morals into the younger generation, who would grow to be the nation's leaders.
He further indicated that the influence of social media and the quest for quick money is directly related to the surge in crimes and wickedness.
The challenge of the LGBTQI+ propaganda on campuses is an attack on the youth and values of the nation, he noted.

"We are about the Lord's command to go out and preach the message to all nations and all people. These are their formative years and getting them now is a security of their future and a guarantee for the nation. This is why I am here," he added.
Assuring the VC of the church's commitment to education, he said, "The church is in partnership with academia and ever ready to support the institution and the VC during his tenure, to continue in its mandate of people and national development."
Prof. Boampong, with a warm reception, also responded that the University which had just turned 60 years (in 2022), is ranked the number one University in Ghana and West Africa, and number four in all of Africa by the Times Higher Education World University Ranking in Research Influence.
He further remarked, "Our successes are by Christ's influence."

"Last week," he continued, "the University was accepted as a member of the Africa Research University Alliance. Paving the way for more contributions to the institution's name and successes.
He called for humanity-driven events like the Encounter with the Oil crusade, which he opined will help drive the right values for focus and development among the youthful University community.
Apostle General in concluding his visit presented a collection of self-authored materials to the VC. He prayed for God's grace for the VC and his leaders to finish a successful development-driven tenure, to the glory of God. He also prayed for peace to prevail on the campus and for the light of God to continue to shine.

Others present in the meeting were the Protestants & Pentecostal Chaplaincy Committee (PPCC) of the university, Rev. Dr Amoani, the Registrar, Rev. Jeff Emmanuel Onyame, Esther Addai, and Richmond Osman, the PPCC female and male secretary respectively.
With the AG were Rev. Paapa Korankye-Ankrah, the Executive Pastor of Royalhouse Headquarters, Rev. Emmanuel Tsivape, the National Coordinator of Royalhouse Chapel Students and Associates (ROSA) Ministry, Rev. Edward Bryan-Okyere, the Media Head of Royalhouse Chapel and Rev. Michael Ohene-Yeboah, the UCC ROSA campus pastor.
