Season 6 of the popular tv series ‘YOLO’ has officially been launched under the auspices of the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
The series has attracted millions of viewers in Ghana and around the world. Many young people thronged the Silver Bird Cinema to be part of the launch of the latest season.
The producers have assembled some fresh faces to bring their acting prowess to bear on the new season of the YOLO series.

At the premiere of the 6th season of the series in Accra, Executive Director of the National Population Council, Dr. Leticia Appiah explained that “the new season would not only include issues surrounding reproductive health but others like COVID-19, Maternal and Child Health, Disability among others.”
The show is sponsored by the Ghana Health Service, Director of Health Promotion at GHS, Dr. Dacosta Aboagye exhorts young people to engage with the series and learn from it so they may make wise decisions about their health.
The series is a reprise of the well-liked Ghanaian TV show Things We Do for Love. Veteran actor Adjetey Anang, often known as Pusher, revealed that the new season has most of its cast drawn from the first series and blends the scenes from the south and the north.

Chief of Staff at the Office of the President of Ghana, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, who was also present at the event said she was excited that the series was using its platform to reach the youth in languages that they can interpret and be educated in.
The next premiere of the YOLO series is expected to be launched in Tamale.
