The Bold New Normal Conference, convened by transformational business leader, author and global speaker, Lucy Quist is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023.
The event will take place at the Zinnia Events Center in Accra with virtual viewing options for participants who cannot attend in person.
The conference is designed to bring young people across Ghana and the African continent together to create actionable solutions to the challenges confronting youth across the continent.
Under the theme “taking action, creating prosperity”, the conference will challenge young people to envision and create solutions that will transform their lives, their communities and their countries.
The 2023 edition will also provide opportunities for reflection on progress made since 2022!
Speaking about the rationale behind the conference, Lucy Quist said that “since the maiden conference I have received calls for the next conference to sustain direction in creating Africa’s prosperity. There are participants who already want to see the conference held in other countries."
"Young people are demonstrating their creativity, leadership, and desire to lead the change that our continent desperately needs. They want an opportunity to come together in a way that allows them to think, share and co-create solutions to the problems such as youth unemployment, building scalable enterprises and driving systemic change in their countries."
“The Bold New Normal Conference is a response to this need. We are creating spaces that enable young people to fully harness their creative power, contribute to helping change the mindset of their peers and to take concrete actions to create the future they envision, a future of a prosperous Africa."
"The Bold New Normal Conference takes its inspiration from the Bold New Normal book. It is a rallying call for mindset change and for young people to take action now to build the future they want and deserve” she concluded.
The conference will feature distinguished speakers, panellists and stories of young people driving change in different economic sectors.
A special attraction of the conference is a curated masterclass by Lucy Quist which allows participants to tap directly into her experience as a thought leader and expertise as a transformational business leader across multiple industries including manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, financial services, and business transformation.
The conference is a must-attend for young business executives, entrepreneurs, founders and changemakers. Tickets can be purchased via Lucy Quist's website.
