The National Sports Council, as part of efforts to ensure a successful African Cup Nations Tournament, has tightened and increased security surveillance within the precincts of the venue centres for the event.
This move was to ensure that all four stadia which had been fixed with state-of-the-art equipments to be used during the tournament would remain intact.
The council’s Chief Administrative Officer, Charles James Aryeh, informed the public to expect the presence of heavy security at the entry points of each stadium facility.
The council therefore appealed to the general public, particularly the Ghanaian community to give its full support and co-operate with the security personnel to ensure a successful Ghana soccer fiesta.
