The Assistant Black Stars Coach, Mr Sellas Tetteh has been named the new coach of the national under-17 team, the Black Starlets.
He replaces Mr Osam Duodu who resigned two days ago. Mr Tetteh will lead the team to the World Cup in South Korea in September.
According to the Ghana Football Association, the coach will revert to the senior national team as Claude Le Roy's assistant after the Under-17 World Cup.
He has previously coached the team in 2002 when the Starlets failed to qualify for the African Junior Championships. He was also Jones Attuquayefio's assistant in the Under-17 team that won bronze medal at the world cup in New Zealand in 1999.
