Tennis star Serena Williams has taken to Instagram to reminisce about the day she met her husband Alexis Ohanian and how their journey together began.
According to her, she had not been open about having her husband share a table with her when they first met at a restaurant in Rome about six years ago.
However, after Alexis Ohanian refused to leave when she asked him to, Serena was won over.
Serena Williams shared a video to celebrate the anniversary of the trip.
“This trip started in Roma 5 or 6 years ago lol I’m the worst with time lines. He sat at my table. I asked him to leave. He refused. I found that hot. I asked him if he liked truffles. He said yes. Eventually, I said yes. And here we are. 5 or 6 years later @alexisohanian,” she wrote.
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian welcomed their daughter Olympia in September 2017 and later got married November that year at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans.
