A teacher at Ambariya Senior High School in Tamale metropolis, Ziblila Mohammed Sadat, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself after sending a message to his brother.
According to sources, the incident happened on Monday in the deceased's room.
Before going ahead with his intention, he had informed his brother via a text message.
After receiving the message, the brother quickly rushed to stop it from happening, but due to the long-distance, he couldn't reach the deceased's residence on time.
Upon his arrival, Mohammed Sadat had already hanged himself to death.
This left his family and friends in a state of shock, saying they least expected this as he was very inspiring about life.
The teacher's body has since been taken to the mortuary by the police for autopsy as the matter is under investigation.
