The tournament opened with a burst of motion at 6:00 a.m., as over 50 corporate institutions gathered for a spirited 5 km race walk and aerobics session across Legon’s campus.
The presence of Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, who joined in and delivered the ceremonial kick, proves the event’s growing significance in promoting fitness and unity across Ghana’s professional landscape.
By 8:00 a.m., the main stadium pitch became the stage for opening football matches, featuring string fixtures like Heritage Christian University vs. Multimedia Group, GhIPSS vs. ECG, Adansi Travels vs. McDan, and a buzz-worthy face-off between the National Identification Authority and Star Assurance Ltd.
Executive Chairman of McDan Group, Dr. Daniel McKorley, hails the JoySports Invitational Tournament.
He highlighted its power to boost wellness, teamwork, and networking across corporate Ghana.

“You have no idea the stress I’m releasing here,” he said.
Nkulenu Industries also battled it out with Old Mutual in the football matches.

On the adjacent pitch, other competitive teams, including La Community Bank, Minerals Commission, and DHL Ghana Ltd, waged their own battles for advancement.

Chief Executive Officer of The Luckiest, Dennis Adutwum, emerged winner of the highly anticipated CEOs Penalty Shootout.

Mr Adutwum, who displayed impressive composure and precision, was cheered on by his employees and a teeming crowd of spectators as he converted the decisive kick to seal his victory.



The courts echoed with cheers as volleyball, basketball, lawn tennis, table tennis, draughts, chess, Scrabble, and even e-sports unfolded in rapid succession.
The grounds are alive with whistles, commentary, the rhythmic thud of shoes on turf, and the laughter of colleagues cheering each other on.


Executives and staff alike stride alongside one another, transcending boardroom roles to celebrate athleticism, team spirit, and professional pride.
