Sinapi Aba Trust has launched the seventh edition of its mentorship programme in Kumasi and Takoradi with a strong focus on promoting the entrepreneurial skills of the youth in Ghana.
The program is an innovative initiative that has run for several years and impacted over 2,000 beneficiaries.
It was established to bridge critical gaps that hinder entrepreneurs in the micro, small, and medium enterprise sector, particularly women, from reaching their full business potential.
The six-month, intensive and structured programme pairs mentors with mentees and combines classroom-based learning with practical, informal training sessions.
Participants are equipped with essential business skills through courses such as fraud management, hiring and managing employees, customer service, and more.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive of Sinapi Aba Trust, Joyce Owusu-Dabo, encouraged mentors to selflessly give their best in guiding participants.
She also urged the mentees to demonstrate strong commitment and dedication in their pursuit of knowledge and growth.
The new cohort comprises 300 mentors and mentees, who are expected to successfully graduate at the end of the six-month programme.
