Group Chief Executive of insurance giant, Enterprise, Keli Gadzekpo, has hinted that despite the move to expand its business operations in many sectors of the economy, it will continue to invest in social activities in the country.
Speaking to Joy Business after commissioning a school edifice of the Bishop Mixed Junior High School in Accra costing over ¢2 million, Mr. Gadzekpo said the business will not shy away from investing in such infrastructure activities, while focusing on making profit.
“This is not the first corporate social investment we’re doing and I’m sure you might be aware that we did something similar at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and other places as well. But we will continue to provide such social infrastructure where it is needed most in the society.
“This is just for the betterment of the citizens and especially wherever we are as a business. We will continue with our efficient operations and expansion drive but these interventions are also important and we shall continue with it” he said.

The idea to construct the new block for the Junior High School was brought up as a result of the dilapidated structure that was housing the students some years ago.
Immediate past Headmistress of the school who spearheaded the project, Georgina Agyemang Duah praised the Enterprise Group for its contributions to the growth of the school.
She expressed confidence that the new edifice will boost the morale of the students to study harder and become prominent in society.
