The tension between Ukraine and Russia continues with no sign of resolution in the coming days.
This has led millions of people to worry, predicting a possible World War III if matters are not resolved.
It has been reported that military infrastructure has been destroyed outside of Lutsk, which is in western Ukraine near Poland and Belarus.
Users have started counting their losses should the tension escalate into a war.
I live in Ukraine. There is shelling, martial law has been imposed. Russia is attacking everywhere. People start to panic, someone is trying to leave the city. Queues at gas stations/stores/ ATMs. And hearing jokes about World War III isn't funny at all.

Russian troops launched their anticipated attack on Ukraine on Thursday, as President Vladimir Putin cast aside international condemnation and sanctions and warned other countries that any attempt to interfere would lead to “consequences you have never seen.”
Individuals in Ukraine have been urged to stay home and not to panic even as the country’s border guard agency reported an artillery barrage by Russian troops from neighboring Belarus.

Some users have however used the opportunity to assess the strength of their country's security should the Ukraine-Russia tension escalate. Ghanaians and Nigerians are making this assessment.
This comes after Putin warned that "to anyone who would consider interfering from the outside, if you do, you will face consequences greater than any you have faced in history."
Many have found humour in this statement, yet others have frowned upon it.
Meanwhile, the Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said it is gravely concerned about the security and safety of Ghanaians living in Ukraine following reports of tensions and violent clashes.
According to the Ministry, government has in the meantime asked the over 1,000 students and other Ghanaians to seek help at government places of shelter.
