The 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards was a mixed bag of reactions for many. Stonewboy carried the night with six awards including Artiste of the Year.

King Promise followed with three, including Most Popular Song, Nacee came in with two awards Best Gospel Artiste and Gospel Song of the Year, Sarkodie won the Hip-Hop Song while Black Sherif won the Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year award.

Strongman won his first award and Amerado won Hiplife Song of the Year.

As the ritual goes, a section of Ghanaians are celebrating because their favourite artiste took home an award while others argue they were cheated.
