Sollatek Electronics Ghana Limited has launched a new range of products onto the Ghanaian market.These include notebook guard, powerback inverter, TV and Fridge Stabs.Features of the Notebook Guard include: over-voltage protection, power back surges protection, protection against spikes and surges; 10 seconds start-up delay; clover leaf and 8 figure connectors; universal voltage for worldwide use and LED indicators showing status.The Powerback Inverter also boasts of features like highly efficient back-up system, Pure Sinewave power, fast transfer time (15milliesecond), three step intelligent charging system to reduce charging time, and has LCD display, Power saving mode and low battery alarm and supports loads up to 5KVA. While the TV and Fridge Stabs are microprocessor controlled and come with features like start-up delay systems, over and under voltage protection as well as surge and spike protection.Speaking during a ceremony to launch the new products at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra last Tuesday, Dr. Maan Allos, Sales & Marketing Director of Sollatek UK explained that Sollatek specializes in four main areas of service.The first, according to him, is the VOLTAGE PROTECTION (VP range) which comprises Switchers, Suppressors, Stabilizers, Uninterrupted Power Suppliers (UPS) and the Inverters. The next is the TELECOM SOLUTIONS made up of Solar Power, Voltage Regulation, Voltage Optimization, a Power Management Unit, Integrated Power and Power Management Systems. The third, he said, handles Solar Power and consists also of Solar Charge Controllers, Solar Modules, Batteries, Solar Street lighting and a Remote System Monitor. Dr Maan Allos said the last area has to with OEM REFRIGERATION which also comprises Temperature control & monitor, Energy Saving, Voltage Protection, Voltage Stabilization and Lamp Ballasts.He further explained that the VP range (Switchers, Stabilizers, Suppressors, and Stabilizers) has a wide range protection for equipment in all industries while the Voltshield or Guard range has an inbuilt “isense” technology that enables the user to control how sensitive the Voltshield guard reacts to voltage problems. This he said could be achieved with a strategically placed isense dial.Headquartered in the United Kingdom, all Sollatek products are manufactured with optimum techniques.
