Madam Mary Krouborg and K. Ligbidi emerged winners in the ladies and men Group A in the 6th edition of the MTN CEO invitational golf tournament played at the Celebrity Golf Club over the weekend.
Madam Krouborg carried the day with a gross score of 90 and net score of 77 in handicap 13.
She was closely followed by Pamela Yeboah who finished with a gross score of 94 and net score of 78 in handicap 16.
In the men’s Group A, Ligbidi finished the day with a gross score of 78 and a net score of 73 in handicap five.
Ernest Kumi finished second with a gross score of 86 and a net score of 74 in handicap 12. With a gross score of 80 and a net score of 74 in handicap six, Kusi Boateng finished third in the men’s Group A.
In the ladies Group B, Maureen Akuaku, came fist with a gross score of 102 and a net score of 66 in handicap 36 with Esther Antwi finishing second with a gross score of 97 and a net score of 77 in handicap 20. Bubby price winner also went to Ann-Beverly Brown.
Gorkeh Sekyim came first in the men’s Group B with a gross score of 89 and net score of 67 in handicap 22 while K. Matlatesa came second with a gross score of 100 and a net score of 72 in handicap 28 to beat Philip Ayivor on count back with the same scores.
Anthony Appiah came fourth with a gross score of 95 and a net score of 73 in handicap 22. Bubby price winner went to Jonathan Adjetey.
Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Serame Taukobong who was the host of the day thanked the golfers for honoring his invitation and contributing to making the day a success.
He congratulated the winners and thanked the organisers and executives of the Celebrity Golf Club for allowing them to use their facility for the tournament.
