A sprinter bus with registration number GS 8521-09 has been involved in an accident on the Accra-Tema motorway, Monday, March 23.
According to the driver, Abdul Amidu, he lost control of the car when he was hit by a speeding vehicle from behind.

The Sprinter, after skidding off the road overturned with all passengers on board.
Abdul explained that he had just been overtaken by a refuse car therefore there was no space to move ahead.

It took eyewitnesses and mechanics at the scene of the incident to help the passengers out of the car.
The people in the car sustained various degrees of injury however, there were no casualties.

A mechanic in the area, Kwabena Agyei, who recounted what happened to Myjoyonline.com said the driver who caused the accident sped off when the car overturned.
