Clients of Standard Chartered Bank with assets or deposits of about 50 thousand Ghana cedis now qualify for a new service known as Priority Banking.Clients who sign up for the service will have at their disposal the bank’s best investment and insurance specialists, whether in or out of the country.Stanchart is hoping to woo the about one million Ghanaians the recent Global Competitiveness Report by the World Economic Forum says own investible assets in excess of 18 thousand dollars.The General Manager in Charge of Insurance and Consumer Transactional Banking at SCB, Benjamin Mensah said priority banking is part of the unique proposition to corner the high valued market segment.High value clients requiring preferential treatment are currently being serviced under Excel Banking. Such clients however do not enjoy those services outside Ghana.
