Starbow in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road central has fulfilled one of the Christmas wishes of the orphans of the Sowutuom (Kressna) Orphanage by giving them a treat in one of their jet aircraft at the Kotoka International airport.
The visit, which was arranged by the Accra Rotary Ring Road Central, was to give the children an opportunity to experience at first-hand how air travel works and how it facilitates the movement of goods and people.
The children were given a guided tour of Starbow's British Aerospace 146 series jet aircraft.
Archibald Kittoe, Senior Marketing Officer of Starbow who took the children around said the airline was pleased to host the children.
He added that the penchant for flying must be encouraged at a very young age.
In all, more than 60 kids, 10 nuns and some staff of the orphanage as well as members of the Accra Ring Road Central Rotary club were present at the memorable event.
Most of the children could not hide their joy as they expressed their utmost gratitute to Starbow for fulfilling one of their wishes this Christmas season.
