In a touching act of corporate social responsibility, StarLife Assurance has extended its support to young inmates at the Senior Correctional Centre, aiming to inspire hope and foster rehabilitation.
The donation, which included vital items such as food supplies, hygiene products, and recreational materials, was handed over in a heartfelt ceremony held at the facility.

According to Mercy Simpson, Head of Brands and Communications at StarLife Assurance, the donation of the items is aimed at helping the inmates.
“The donation is one part, but I think there is also the engagement part. We didn’t just come and donate, we had a short ceremony with them. We engaged with them, we are on our way to go see items they made with their hands”
“It is what we left with them, the engagement we had with them, that is what we are actually leaving with them. Going forward, we will continue to look for other opportunities where we can partner and then leave a mark.”

The event brought together representatives of StarLife Assurance, prison officials, and the young inmates. The gesture was met with heartfelt appreciation, as the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the thoughtful support aimed at improving their lives.
Through initiatives like this, StarLife Assurance continues to champion hope and transformation, reinforcing its role as a socially responsible organization dedicated to building a better future for all.
