The Management of SIC Life Company says it remains committed to providing a credible, value for money services to its customers spread across the country.
In a statement, the company said it is distinct from the SIC Insurance Company which has recently been rocked by some allegations of stealing.
Two senior staff at the company were arrested early this week for allegedly stealing an amount of ¢3.8 million.
But SIC Life Company says "in response to the concerns and questions of our various stakeholders we are compelled to make this statement in order to clarify the company’s position in relation to SIC Insurance Company Limited."
"Since 2007, SIC Life has existed as a totally separate legal entity distinct from SIC Insurance Company Limited which undertakes general insurance business," the statement indicated.
The company is promising to work with diligence and integrity at all times.
