Musician Stonebwoy, born Livingston Etse Satekla, and his Livingston Foundation, have commissioned four mechanized boreholes in four communities in the Shama District of the Western Region.
Antiamoah, Beposo Nkran, Daboase Junction and Borkor Awukukope, all communities in the Shama District, were the benefactors of the Livingston Foundation borehole project.
The boreholes will serve eight communities with treated water and can be connected to individual homes.
The Assembly Member of Antiamoah commended the musician for the help, and said they had written several letters to the government for support but it never came.
Also, the chief of Borkor Awukukope was relieved that for the first time in the past twelve years of calling the government for clean water, Stonebwoy and the Livingston Foundation have come to their aid.
The wife of the musician, Dr. Louisa Etse Satekla in a conversation with JoyPrime's Ibrahim Ben-Bako said other communities will benefit from the Livingston Foundation.
Stonebwoy used the opportunity to call on all corporate entities to uphold their corporate social responsibilities.
