A final year student of the University of Ghana who claims police in Achimota have brutalized him for making comments against the president has vowed to seek justice.
The student, Richard Salu who claims the police brutalized and dehumanized him when one of their colleagues dragged him to the Achimota Police Station in Accra to be incarcerated spoke to Joy News on Wednesday.
Richard’s alleged torture was first published by the Insight newspaper.
He said his offence was that he had contributed to a debate in an Accra commercial vehicle ‘trotro’, but a policeman on board the ‘trotro’ found his comments about the president offensive and arrested him.
