The most influential football agent in the world, Pini Zahavi, arrived in Ghana on Monday night to begin his task with AshantiGold Football Club.
The Israeli wants to explore the opportunities at the mining club after it was acquired by a British Virgin Islands consortium, Fortia, led by former Kotoko Chairman Herbert Mensah.
Zahavi has masterminded some renowned football deals,notably, Roman Abramovich's take-over of Chelsea and some renowned and controversial transfers.
The 65-year-old is to help revive the AshantiGold Academy by scouting for talents in the West Africa sub-region.
