Nigeria put in an uncoordinated and lacklustre display during their World Cup warm-up against Saudi Arabia.
The Super Eagles were unable to force a breakthrough during the friendly encounter and were forced to settle for a goalless draw.
It could have been much worse, though, for Lars Lagerback's side as they were fortunate to escape unscathed.
The Swedish coach has been with the squad for less than a week, but knows he has a tough task ahead of him if he is to get Nigeria firing on all cylinders.
The African nation did take the opportunity to run an eye over the vast majority of their squad, but the number of changes did little for their fluidity.
The best they could muster were a number of long-range efforts in the second half and a half-chance for Kalu Uche.
A strong run by Everton's Victor Anichebe ripped through the Saudi Arabia rearguard, but Uche was unable to get a touch to a clever cross.
Saudi Arabia could then have won the game in the 71st minute when Ahmed Mohamed Al Fraidi slid Abdelaziz Said Al Dawsari in on goal, but he dragged tamely past the post.
They had a number of other promising opportunities as time ticked away and they ended the game much the stronger.
Nigeria now head to London to continue their preparations, with a date against Colombia in Milton Keynes scheduled for Sunday.
