Ghana’s premier 4G LTE operator, Surfline Communications Ltd has partnered indigenous software development company, Dream Oval Ghana to develop a platform that will allow Surfline customers top-up their accounts and buy data bundles online.
The new online payment channel adds to the already existing platforms – expressPay and Surfline’s own self-care portal MySurfline.
With these platforms, customers are able to conveniently purchase and activate data bundles on their accounts online.
To use this new platform, customers have to visit www.airty.me and follow 4 simple steps to top-up or activate Surfline data bundles.
Payments for data bundles can be made with either debit or credit cards.
Speaking on the introduction of this new payment platform, Chief Commercial Officer of Surfline, Mr Justice Taylor said the partnership with Dream Oval is part of the company’s move to provide a world-class service experience.
“This new addition to our e-service products is a big step towards our vision of running a world-class service experience system, where customers can conduct basic self- service functions with convenience from anywhere and at any time without having to having to visit a Surfline store or retail outlet”, he said.
Surfline Communications is the first telecoms operator to roll out a 4G LTE network in Ghana.
With over 245 cell sites; it is credited with the single largest 4G LTE deployment within Africa.
Surfline is a wholly owned Ghanaian company which currently operates within Accra and Tema.
