Love, faith and commitment took centre stage as Ghana’s legendary sports commentator and President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Kwabena Yeboah, renewed his marriage vows with his wife after 35 years of companionship.
The intimate ceremony, held behind closed doors, was filled with warmth and deep symbolism as the veteran broadcaster joyfully placed a ring on his wife’s finger, reaffirming the covenant they made more than three decades ago.
Clad in a sharp royal blue suit, white shirt and matching blue tie, Kwabena Yeboah exuded grace and confidence, a reflection of a man comfortable in legacy and love.
His wife complemented the moment beautifully in an elegant olive-green ensemble, styled with soft sheer sleeves and a neatly pulled-back hairstyle adorned with a golden hairpiece—simple, dignified and timeless.
As he slipped the ring onto her finger, Mr Yeboah was heard declaring with emotion:
“With this ring, I renew my vow and the covenant before God, and I pledge that by the grace of God, this marriage is forever. Amen!”
Moments later, his wife reciprocated the gesture, placing a ring on his finger to seal the renewal of their union, drawing smiles and quiet admiration from those present.
