Swansea City have endured a patchy campaign thus far, although they continue to march on in the FA Cup, their inconsistent performance in the Premier League means they are embroiled in the relegation battle.
However, it appears their survival hopes statistically depend on Ghana striker Jordan Ayew scoring as it has been established that anytime he is on target the Welsh club does not lose.
On Tuesday night, he came off the bench to power Swansea to last eight of FA Cup for the first time in 54 years. The 26-year old netted in less than nine minutes on the field to set the Swans on their way before Nathan Dyer sealed victory with a close-range finish with 10 minutes left.
This was the 10th match that Jordan had scored for Swansea City and they are yet to lose a game he has netted in (W8 D2 L0).
Jordan signed for Swansea in January 2017 and has struck a total of 10 goals - six in the league and four in cup matches.

Manager impact
Jordan had struggled to find his scoring boots, reducing him to a squad player under Paul Clement. But since the arrival of manager Carlos Carvahal, the former Marseille man has become an integral member of Swans set up. Ayew scored in Carvahal's first game and has not looked back since.
Carlos Carvalhal (L) celebrates with Jordan Ayew
Last night, with the Swans struggling to break the five-man defence of Sheffield, Carvahal introduced Jordan and he delivered.
"Jordan Ayew is a clever player. He has an element of class about him. He was head and shoulders above most players on the pitch. He was easily the best player in this game and he only played half of it. He changed the game. He made the back five of Sheffield Wednesday extremely nervous. Nobody came close to doing that in the first half." said BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson who was present at the Liberty Stadium.
