The Rector of the Takoradi Polytechnic, Rev. Professor Daniel Nyarko, has admonished the staff and students of the polytechnic to work extra hard to move the institute to a greater height.
He said the polytechnic would continue to maintain high academic standards and urged the staff and the students to move along with the pace it had set.
Rev. Prof. Nyarko gave the advice at an end-of-year get-together, at Takoradi, where he interacted with staff and students of the polytechnic and took stock of the year and plan the way forward.
He commended the staff for distinguishing themselves during the year.
The Rector advised the staff and the students to work harder, and strive to achieve more in the coming years.
The polytechnic presented awards and certificates to active and retired staff, who had distinguished themselves during the year.
